Kaustav Bhattacharjee is a Post-doc Research Associate with the Optimization & Control Group at PNNL. His research interests span visual analytics, data privacy, human-computer interaction, and explainable AI. Kaustav recently defended his PhD dissertation, which focused on developing interactive visual analytic workflows to mitigate uncertainty and privacy issues during the analytical process, particularly in domains such as the open data ecosystem.

Contributing my expertise to projects related to grid privacy and security and explore new avenues at the intersection of visual analytics and data privacy in various domains, including energy systems and governance.
Worked on developing an interface to explain model performance under the Harmonics Enhanced Continual Load Modeling (HELM) project.
Pursued a PhD in Data Science and worked in the NJIT's Intelligible Information Visualization lab (NiiV).
Working in the Managed Security Services (MSS) domain of Cyber Security Practice with hands-on experience in SIEM Administration, Implementation & Design along with exposure in Threat Intelligence Management and Primary Malware Analysis.
Working in Managed Security Services (MSS) projects for certain banking, pharmaceutical and mining clients, focussing on detection and analysis of different security incidents related to firewalls, antivirus, servers, along with availability monitoring and anti-virus and patch compliance monitoring.
Completed an Internship Project on analysing Twitter Datasets, including hashtags analysis and sentiment analysis, using Map Reduce (Java), titled "Sentiment Analysis And Related Big Data Analyses on Huge Datasets of Tweets on Celebrities”.

Completed a doctorate degree with focus on Data Visualization and Explainable AI
Completed Bachelors in Information Technology at IEM Kolkata with first class grade in 2016.
